The final lightpainting image from the Salton Sea.

Okay, I think I'm done with this series now. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to head back out to the Salton Sea again sometime in the near future and do some more lightpaintings. Hope those of you who keep up with this blog enjoyed these and I'll be sure to post more as soon as I do get back out there.

I dedicate this shot to those brave photographers who never made it out of the surreal, visually overwhelming world that is "the Salton Sea." Much love to ya, my fellow photo-geeks. You're in my prayers.

Light Painting at the Salton Sea State Recreation Area!

This shot was a lot of fun to create. I used a technique called light painting to create it during a camping trip to the Salton Sea in Southern California. This is a "rough draft" of a shot I took at Bombay Beach while I was there. More images, including at least one more light painting shot, to come soon! Anyone interested in checking out this incredible place can get more info at www.saltonsea.ca.gov.
