Okay, this shot is actually from a parking garage on Ventura Blvd. where I ate dinner, but the rest are genuine Los Angeles Chinatown shots!

Light Painting at the Salton Sea State Recreation Area!

This shot was a lot of fun to create. I used a technique called light painting to create it during a camping trip to the Salton Sea in Southern California. This is a "rough draft" of a shot I took at Bombay Beach while I was there. More images, including at least one more light painting shot, to come soon! I shot these on the patio at Holly's in Hollywood, Calif. It was sort of an impromptu, one light, location portrait session. I've been having a blast at all of these events I've been shooting, this particular one involved ex-pro-skater Chad Muska DJing in a small, but classy venue. Music, drinks, and admission all paid for, plus a paycheck... Good times!
